Mixing PSU cables. On the cable from the 750 it has "type 3" on the side of the 6 pin that goes into the PSU. The only difference between Type 3 and Type 4 cables is the 24pin motherboard cable. The cables for PCIe, EPS12V (CPU), peripheral, and SATA are compatible between Type 3/Type 4.

Should be fine. High Power is one of the major PSU OEMs, and since it''s LLC+DC-DC it should be fine. Since it''s a prebuilt, I assume they''ve done some testing to verify that it works with the 3080. EVGA has about a billion different PSUs under the Supernova name, ranging from garbage to pretty high end.

It just has modular cables, in terms of no cables pre-attached to the PSU, all cables you''d need are included so it just means you use what you want to. The benefit is you only use that cables you need/want. Semi-modular PSU''s are great as well, the attached non-modular cabes are all ones that get used.

Thermaltake PSU Good?
Getting a 650W or 750W PSU would be pointless, unless you have money and want a louder fan. EVGA in particular likes selling noisy PSUs. If you want a quiet PSU with plenty of wattage for overclocking the system, get a Straight Power 11, Whisper M or RMx, in the 450W version, 550W for the RMx. :)

The rx 6600 non XT recommends a 450w so you are good, the XT requires a 500w so technicaly you are good there as well. I would maybe go with the 6600 non XT just to not push the PSU too hard considering what type of PSU it is.

I have an IBuypower built PC, "Ryzen 5600x, Nvidia 3070",that originally came with a High Power 700W PSU. I replaced that one for the Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 650W psu i found in this list in the A categlory, as I wanted it to be more reliable, but I have found that the GF1 is extremely loud, 50db under heavy load.

I swap out the PCI-E power cables. The 3090 starts right up in the new system! IT WAS THE POWER CABLE. I was using custom cables from cablemod and I got the longest ones they made (900mm although now they have 1000mm). I needed extra long cables to properly route them in my case otherwise it would not look that great.
